Moreover, the maximum gas pressure on the piston occurs in the later region of its stroke, during the period of not direct, but tangential movement of the piston relative to the axis of the shaft elbow.
The coincidence in time of the moments of the maximum value of the centrifugal force lever and the greatest pressure of the expanding gases contribute to a significant increase in torque, and, accordingly, increase the engine power.
