The symbols of the Katalgen ® fuel additive in the documentation include the following groups of signs, arranged in a certain sequence:
- the first group is the general name of the fuel additive Katalgen;
- second group type, name of the catalytic complex: nomenclature " S " - "Sdvigen", nomenclature "K" - "Kelezer" , nomenclature "E" - "Eleza" , nomenclature " U " — "Ulord" ;
- the third group of brand, division by fuel type: nomenclature " G " — " Gas ", nomenclature" B " — " Benzine ", nomenclature" D " — "Diesel fuel".
Example spelling: Katalogen SB, Katalogen SD, Katalogen SG, Katalogen KB, Katalogen KD, Katalogen KG, Katalogen EB, Katalgen ED, Katalgen EG, Katalgen UB, Katalgen UD, Katalgen UG.

In accordance with GOST 12.1.007-76, Katalgen® are classified as low-hazard substances, according to the degree of exposure to the body – hazard class 4. Handling the additive requires the precautions necessary when working with petroleum products.

The additive is added to the fuel at a temperature of minus 45°C to plus 45°C. The temperature does not affect the consumer properties of the additive. In case of solidification, the container with the additive must be heated without using open sources of fire.
Katalgen® is produced in plastic and metal containers with a volume of 1 and 10 liters. Containers containing the additive should be stored on pallets or shelving under a canopy, in storage areas closed from sunlight and precipitation. The warranty period of storage of the additive is 3 years.
